Agustin de Itubide anounced the Plan de Iguala in 1821.
"Too long to get messeges across the world," we said in our prayers.
Our plan sought to make Mexico an independent nation.
Many people including me as a Spanish soldier supported the plan.
A widespread rebellion soon crossed the land.
We won, too grateful that we were not
in Spain's goverment.
